[MacDuFF]

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.


#1     I love this skirt!  But, I'd remove all the tassels and change the top...maybe a black or white linen button front tied in front or a tan cropped elbow sleeve cashmere sweater or anything other than that bathing suit😬.  The necklace is fabulous, and I love the sandals, too.

#3   Without the shawl, the inseam would be fine for summer (for me, YMMV) , but, for cooler spring temps, with the shawl, I'd prefer a true ankle or full length pant.

#11   Love the outfit in the foreground...second favorite.   Not that I would wear that hat in my wildest imagination😆...my Grandpa wore a hat like that, so .  And, of course, the heel on the kool boots would kill me👵.

Hello @MacDuFF   My faves this week are 13 & 18 

Edited to add:  PLEASE tell me any info on the striped top in the #18 pic. I'm seriously interested. The top reminds me of when Madonna wore a VERY similar top (with a boat neck) in the original 'Papa Don't Preach' video! I remember wanting that top back then...believe it or not!

I love in colors in #2 brown and turquoise.

#3 is my absolute favorite. Maybe because the woman is styling more like me except she's thinner. Hair color like mine. I don't mind the shawl. It's a nice touch 😘 I like the shoes since I no longer wear heels.

#6 vest is light and airy. Pants and flats 🥿 are more my style. Black and cream/white always a nice combo.

#1 Cinco de Mayo anyone? For real, it'd be cute to wear to a CdM party. Would overwhelm me, but looks very nicely made, and cute on her.

#5 One of my favs for this week. I love that breezy look and neutral/ivory color palette. I could do those pants, but would have to do a similar but more petitely proportioned topper. Love the handbag, for the outfit, too.

#6 Love that also. Topper very cute shape. Love her boho hair. I like the pop of metallic shoe against all the black white...the gold, against all the black & tying back to the earrings. I'm not quite a fan of those shape/type shoes, loafers/mule loafer flats, (sorry @MacDuFF I know you like a loafer; they just aren't "me", probably because on me 5'1" they just look frumpy), so I'd find something a different gold sandal or small heel.

#7 LOVE! What a cute jacket and with those pants. Yes, I'd wear that all day long. Not a fan of the sandals...I think it throws it off, and I'd go for a boot or pump.

#12 I love barn jackets. Only one I ever owned though, which I loved, unfortunately was faux leather, SG from Q, so cute, but eventually, (5 yrs later) faux leather will peel. I never bought faux leather clothing again...not a good investment...even for a few seasons. But this jacket was so cute...it was a burnished bronze...the burnished areas were a subtle bronze metallic that shown from beneath the brown leather. Looked like a burnished antique piece of bronze metal. Here in CT they suit our vibe here, especially in fall...but I don't currently own another. I prefer the more classic earth tones in them, but I can see why you @MacDuFF like this blue one...it is pretty.

#13 Pretty spring outfit...love navy/white in spring. Nice jacket.

#17 Love this outfit. Those see-through shoes seem to be a trend this season. Amy Stran wears a cute one during the fashion shows lately.

i love the brown suede jacket too, I just don't like the belt. Would remove the belt and change it to buttons.
