[MacDuFF]

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

#20(a)   I don't like the style of these jeans at all, but from what I gather, this is new fabric technology giving it all that shine...from Adriano Goldschmied (AG jeans)...this is "bling" I'd wear and hope to see it in the future (on a different style jean).

@MacDuFF I am in love with just about every single outfit. Beautiful selections.

The tweed coat in #1 is very elegant as is the beautiful skirt in #6.

Favorites are the grey top and matching beret in #4 and the #7 jacket. Love the brown pants in #10, actually the entire look.

#19 is a no, all the way around, especially the boots, but to each her own 

Love, love, love the shoes in #16.

FASHION FAVORITES 12/8/2024

Oh, I love #1. That is such a great outfit in its entirety and the lady wearing it is a beauty.

The cute lady in #2 looks great in red entirely and the white fur makes it pop. Still not crazy about those shoes with this outfit. Too much, too little, too late or something.

I like the jeans in #3 with the sweater.  I like the silver pumps with that better than the ones in #2. Sometimes a lot is too much, but this is a good look.

I really like the grey cardigan and tam in #4. I love that color for winter and it looks snuggly and cashmere.

#5 I love the Breton look, no matter the colors. She is a pretty lady and has a pretty cardigan.

In #6, I totally agree with you about the shoes. I do like the skirt and top and it looks really good on her. Maybe she just likes blue & brown or she forgot to find her other shoes before doing the photo

#7 That gray color is such a favorite winter color for me. I don't like the this little jacket for me. I am top-heavy and that would make me look even more so but I LOVE IT ON HER.

#8 I agree with you on what a beauty that is. It is one of my favorites. Next to #1. Number 1 is the best.

#9 I like that a whole lot. I love the sweater top and I love the jeans. That is such a great look for grocery shopping, mall shopping or going for a cocktail in the afternoon.

#10 I am not a brown person which does not look good on me since I let my hair go gray but it looks great on this very pretty lady and I think she has done it well. A great looking outfit for her.

#11 Not a fan of Fair Isle nor rib-tickling sweaters so that is my least favorite.

#12 That's a good looking outfit. I would wear that and she wears it well.

#13 The rich lady look. I agree. Luxurious.

#14 It's okay and I don't dislike it but it does not look magazine quality.

#15 I am not fond of the top she has chosen for this but love the crushed velvet lavender pants.

#16 Beautiful dress, beautiful shoes. But shoes a bit much for the dress. The dress can stand on its own. The shoes would be knock-outs with a solid black dress with a black fur but it just doesn't work with the red dress and fur.

#17 Oh, I love that jacket. I love it even with the belt or without and I think the whole outfit rocks the Casbah.

#18 I love the outfit and if she is going for cocktails, or to an evening out, the shoes are okay but if she is just going to lunch with friends, don't like the shoes. It's knowing where she is going which makes it right or wrong, I think.

#19 No. I just think the whole thing is wrong. I admire her for putting it on and putting it out there but it's not something that I even would consider, but good for her. It's a look!

#20 I haven't made up my mind about these jeans yet. Perhaps the lady in #19 should model them for us.

I love the tailored coat in # 1. Looks so warm and substantial and can work with any outfit. I don't see this style very often, if at all.

#18 -- I love this!  But red has always been my color!  I agree about the shoes.

My favorites this week are:

#13-I've always loved the wine and burgundy colors for winter, and I WANT that woven handbag!
#19-I love the red, black, white color combo of this outfit, but I'm not crazy about the horizontal striped skirt. I think a small pattern on a skirt would look better with the rest of the outfit.

My favorites this week are #5 and #16 although I could never wear this dress.  My upper arms are the part of my body that get cold first and I was freezing just looking at the picture but I think it's a sharp look.

My runner ups for this week were #1, 2 & 8.

#1 I like the colors and textures, but those pants look huge in the legs. No, thank you.


#4 Very chic and classic, but I'd never wear the hat. 


#5 & #8 Definitely my style! Love a good stripe. I like the handbag in #8 too.

#9  Love the pieces.  I would add a blazer or jacket, and then it's perfect for me. 


#10 I would like this better if the pants weren't dragging on the ground. Don't like the color of shoes or purse with the other colors. I'd choose black. 


P.S. I don't think I'd wear those shiny coated jeans in any shape or style.

Funny, however, I only stopped to pause on number 12 this week.

When fashion changes so quickly, I have trouble keeping up with my likes.
