Fashion Favorites 12/1/24...

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

Handsome and I went to the beach last week...got so busy with stuff that I completely forgot to post FF😮...cannot keep up!

#1   I'd wear black hose.

#2   Sezané Paris love.

#3   Wish I had a better pic of this beautiful shirt...I simply do not get wearing it with those pants, though. 🤔

#4   Pearls are not on the backside of these festive jeans...much prefer this outfit to the one posted a few weeks ago with the short sleeved gold sequined top.

#5   If I needed a festive top with some shine, I'd pick this one.

#6

#7   Will gladly take the jeans, topper (love!), and sandals...y'all can divvy up the rest!

#8  Clever way to gather up excess fabric versus the half or side tuck. Love this sweater.  From another pic in this series, I can tell you that she has what appears to be one of those poofy mesh shower sponge thingies on her shoe.  WTH!

#9

#10

#11   The only thing I love about this is the barn jacket...the outfit is ridiculous IMO, and I can't look at her nose YMMV.

#12   Favorite (gorgeous woman).

#13

#14  Canadian thrifter...J. Crew sweater, LizSport vest, Ralph Lauren blazer, Fossil belt, Coach bag (all thrifted).

#15   Second favorite. This is a woman after my own thrifting heart! Gap turtleneck, Tommy Hilfiger jacket, Calvin Klein jeans, vintage bag (all thrifted).

#16

#17   The shoes are...odd, otherwise love the outfit.

#18

#19

#20   Want these socks!

#21   Great colors

#22   Ralph...love grey and camel.

#23   Speaking of.   I wonder if the Ralph above was her inspiration?  I'd prefer another inch or so inseam and a little less dramatic shoulder.  I like this color better than Ralph's.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe, stylish week!

Excellent choices once again @MacDuFF

My favorites are the gold shimmery shirt in #5; the oh so pretty socks in #20 (I've never seen anything like them, so unique) and t#23 with that beautiful buttery suede jacket and almost matching suede boots.

FASHION FAVORITES 12/1/2024

#1 I love, love, love it. That's my kind of dress. I might wear darker hose or if I didn't have any without runs that day, I would wear it as she has. It looks great either way and would be creative to add some red teacup heels.   #2 I really love that Sezane Paris with love sweater. Looks like cashmere with a bonus of heart.   #3 Not a fan of shirts with prints nor with pants that look like you had nothing else to wear that day, so you just put them on with that big-bird shirt.   #4 How festive. Love the jeans, the fur, the shoes. Not a fan of the top with all the other as it takes away from the pants and fur. The shoes are heavy on design as well but they work. Just ditch that top.    #5 I agree with you about this festive top. It is elegant and not over-the-top, but elegantly beautiful with either dress pants or jeans.     #6 I love, love, love that dress on that lady. I wish I had the bod for that dress. It is sooo pretty. Not a fan of the shoes, however.     #7 Not a fan of either item at all. Maybe the hat if I had a larger head but the hat would be wearing me.     #8 I don't like turtlenecks unless they are very light, almost a cowl neck --- that's what I like. I just think that woman had a hard time trying to be creative and it just did not turn out as well as she wished.    #9 One of my favorites. Good old standby jeans and a great blazer.    #10 I only like the ivory lady sweater. The rest can be left to someone who is slimmer and who likes bulk.

#11 Don't like any of it and her nose makes mine need blowing more since I have a headcold and trying to imagine what she would do if she had this runny nose I have. #12 Pretty lady, pretty pants, pretty shirt and pretty shoes. I don't like it together. She would look great in either item but not together. These items just don't play well together.     #13 Beautiful jacket for tall, thin ladies like you, MacDuff.    #14 Those are my favorite vendors: Great outfit. Would wear each item or all together, as shown. Ralph Lauren, J Crew, Liz, Coach and even some Fossil.     #15 Jeans and jacket, my favorite. As stated earlier, no to turtlenecks. I feel as if I am choking. They make me claustrophobic.     #16 She's very cute in that but not for everybody. In fact, very few people can wear that and get that great look.     #17 I agree with you, nice outfit. Strange shoes.    #18 Just no.    #19 Love that outfit even with the mock turtleneck. She looks very elegant. Love the whole thing, bag and shoes, etc.    #20 Again, no. Just no.    #21 I think that is a very classy blend of colors and prints. Probably has more money than Trump (LOL). #22 That's an expensive looking jacket, very nice. The sweater looks cashmere and I like the combo. If I liked T-necks, I would fall in love with it.    #23 Good look, even if she had seen the Ralph look. It looks good on her. #24. Wishing you a great week and that all your Christmas shopping gets done! Thanks again for a great view into your look-book.

Love #1 and #2.  Probably I would get the most wear out of those.  Lovely as always.

Re: Fashion Favorites 12/1/24...

#5  I like the color combo, and the idea of a shiny top, but the top looks like it would be difficult to keep up on my shoulders, and maybe a bit scratchy?

#6 Would be so much prettier IMO with a more streamlined delicate shoe.

#7   Looks a bit like a costume. Gives me a Spanish matador vibe. JMO

#8 I like the sweater, but the rest is odd. Don't like the look or the thing holding up one side of the sweater.

#14 I like the blazer, sweater, belt, and handbag. Don't like vests on me. The loose baggy pants look sloppy to me. I'd prefer a fitted jean.

#15 I like a jacket, top, and loafers as an outfit formula. My least favorite item is the handbag. I'd substitute one of my small crossbody bags.

#22   Definitely my style! Love a blazer, turtleneck, jean, and boots this time of year!
I like the fit of these pieces better than #23.

Re: Fashion Favorites 12/1/24...

Hi @MacDuFF!

I like #4, and 6!

I like 7, not for me but it looks so nice on her.

Love the red color in 8 but could never wear that hot sweater especially with the high neck!

Like 9-so classic!

Like the pretty shirt in 12 but not the pants!

14 is such a great outfit on her-I don't like the jacket so much but the vest and top and then put it all together and looking goodSmiley Happy

I like the red jacket in 15.

6 is so unusual and looks great on her.

19 reminds me of what my San Francisco aunt would wear, and that's a good thingSmiley Happy

#22-I don't think I like anything that looks like leather or is leather

20-I want those socks too!Woman Very Happy

23-like it all but not the top with the high neck.

There's actually a lot I like this time and might even wear!
