My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

1.   Casual-yet-festive outfit for a warm climate.

4.  This lady loves color!   A picky MacDuff thing, but the bow on the shoes is too big.


5.   Even though I'm not a fan of the extreme pointy toe, these are all great outfits, but the tops in 1st, 4th, and 5th pics are much too tight IMO.  My favorite outfit of the bunch is the 3rd one.

8.   Canadian thrifter.  French Connection sweater, DKNY blazer, Gap belt, Calvin Klein jeans, vintage bag (all thrifted), Mia shoes (retail).  She makes jewelry, so the necklace might be her creation.  I don't care for those shoes...would prefer black or brown ankle boots...but I. Want. This. Blazer!! ❤️❤️❤️

12(b).  ...I would definitely wear it in the black!


13.  I want this jacket, too!  Y'all can have the blouse with the ridiculous sleeves, the bag, the elephant leg jeans, and the honking Chloe belt😆.  I have no idea what the thing is around her neck...a dicky maybe...but, yeah, a brown turtleneck with this jacket would be perfect.

15.   I like the juxtaposition of the casual cargoes and the dressier blazer...don't like the shoes at all.


16.  Favorite...I'm having a thing for cargo pants lately🤷‍♀️.


17.  These are the grey jeans that have been on my buy list for years.  Don't even try to tell me she can walk in those sandals.  A couple of thin leather strings holding that big, clunky heel?

Lots of great choices this week.  I like everything even if not for myself, but my favorites begin with #13 and all the rest including the gray jeans which I have and love them.  I wear them more than any of my jeans.  They look good but are like your best pair of huaraches when you are ready to throw them out because they are so comfy but hate to see them go.

Here are my takes:

#1 - I like both pieces - very cute  - but I would wear either one but not both at the same time

#2 - I love the color a lot but I think it is too matchy/matchy with the color - another color is needed to break it up

@MacDuFF   Perhaps you read comments by a few of us here talking about balzers & jackets - many of my favs. There are so many cool ones you've noted here today.

Hope those pearls aren't on the backside of the jeans in #1. Ouch. 

My favorites this week...

#2 is very elegant, although I prefer more structure in my garments. 

#3 is definitely my style, but I don't like joggers so I would substitute straight leg jeans. 

#9 Love the neutral color combinations. Not a fan of the lace cuffs or messy hair. 

Unlike you, @MacDuFF, I'm not a cargo pant person. My hips and thighs are big enough so I don't want extra material on them. And, I know this may be shocking, but I'm not a fan of Hermes prints. 😱
