According to the Bloomingdale's catalog, these are fall's top trends:

1. Animal prints, featuring footwear, coats and sweaters. Wild jeans, in leopard, cheetah and reptile patterns.

2. Slouchy boots, in leather or fabric.

3. Dad sneakers, big and chunky, and either in all white or very colorful.

4. Graphic sweaters, either camo or leopard, or collegiate, fair isle, or rainbow striped.

5. Belt bags, now in leather, and worn crossbody.

6. Slim sunglasses, especially small, circular specs.

7. Bold blazers, in plaid, corduroy or velvet, worn with denim or over a long gown.

8. Western boots, either booties or tall boots, embellished and in bold colors.

9. Army-inspired jeans, paired with white boots or booties. But don't wear them with combat boots-- too costumey.

10. Statement coats, including puffers, shearling and faux fur, in bright colors, patterns, and color-blocking.

I have versions of #s 1, 4, and 8 from previous years, so l don't consider those "new" trends, but rather more timeless fashions. I don't think I'll be buying any of the others. Some of them remind me of the 70s (tiny sunglasses, white boots), and 80s (slouchy boots and longer blazers), and were not my favorites back then, so they won't be now either.

Do you like these trends, already own some of them, or will you be buying any?

Oh, poo.  Looks like, once again, I'm not in fashion with my comfy sweats and jammies! Woman LOL

edited to add:  fun to read the list, though!

Yeah.  I presume those are all the things that Bloomies invested heavily in this season.  Some I like, Some I don't.  Some are trends, some are not trends at all.   Some I already own, some I don't own and never will own.

Here’s my list. More “No” than “Yes”.

1. Animal prints

Classic neutral colors - YES

Wild jeans, in leopard, cheetah and reptile patterns. NO

2. Slouchy boots, in leather or fabric. NO

3. Dad sneakers, big, chunky, white or colorful. NO

4. Graphic sweaters, camo or leopard, or collegiate, fair isle, or rainbow striped.

YES to leopard. NO to tthe rest.

5. Belt bags NO

6. Slim sunglasses, especially small, circular specs. NO

7. Bold blazers NO

8. Western boots embellished and in bold colors.

I own a pair of Westen inspired black ankle boots already.

I would never do bold colors in boots.

9. Army-inspired jeans with white boots NO

10. Statement coats NO - prefer a solid classic color
