At my age I've seen lots of trends come, go, and come back again. I'm comfortable in my style, and I know what I like to wear, but I still like to see what the trends are each season. I don’t take any of it too seriously. If I like a trend, I will buy it. If not, I pass it by. It’s just “fashion fun” to me. Lots to choose from. Wear what you love and ignore the rest.

My favorite trends from this list...
I like wearing red, burgundy, and olive. I love and own turtlenecks in various weights. My favorite prints are stripes so I'm on board with that. I also like leopard print. Tailored suiting separates are definitely part of my wardrobe.
What are your favorites?

Another thread mentioned old-ish suede and leather jackets......Then somebody mentioned crochet vest worn over jackets.
Now I'm thinking about looking for a fringed, crochet vest to wear over already owned faux and real leather and suede jackets.
Edited: Thank you, Wilma. Vests are on your list !!!!

Any trendy news about vests for 2025?
Yes. Vests will be popular. They are under tailored suiting trends. Fringe and western influences are also trending.
Wear what you love!

Wilma:
I guess I missed the 'Vests' you listed!
Sometimes I wonder about myself.......

I like the colors red and olive green. The outerware trends don't fly here in Arizona where people don't even own coats. Leather jackets might work for the few real cold days. Same with sweaters, tweeds, herringbone stuff or suits. Not where I live. We just don't dress up. Thank goodness. I'll stick to my pants and long sleeved tees. Most of that stuff is for people who dress up.

TY for the post; I am so old, I have all the "trends" in my closet -- I guess I will go shopping and see what I can pull together.......not sure about ladylike shoes though.

Crochet vests also look fab over jean jackets.
Each of my jean jackets has at least one coordinating vest.
If any of you crochet ... the book with the pattern is called "Crochet Wear" by Ann Regis. Published by Leisure Arts.
It was pubished in 2010 ... so crochet vests over jackets is nothing new. I've been making them for quite a few years.
I checked at Alibris dot com and they do have a used copy available. (search by author)

Alratiba:
I hadn't heard of this great, well-known idea of wearing vests over jackets!
'Who knows where I've been'.........so to speak.
I web searched 'fringed crochet vests' and found several at Amazon and Walmart.
When I have more time, maybe tomorrow, I'll take a better look.
Have a nice Sunday and next week!
Everyone!
