Facebook question-PAID???

On Amy stran's fb page, next to the time of her last post it says PAID

 

Just wondering if anyone knows what that means as I've never seen it before?

I think that is an "ad" posted by QVC not a message posted by AMy herself

I think that the post is designated a paid one because it's one that has QVC with a vendor's clothing, in this case Halston. It also could be that companies with a business page like QVC has are paying facebook to bump up their post as an ad to show up in page or news feeds. I do think it's a new facebook feature as I've see paid posts in another feed.

Yes, as many have said there are 'targeted' Paid advertising on Facebook, just another way for Mark to make lots of money.

FB monitors what you do and where you visit so that business can pay to send direct sales and marketing based on your online habits.
