Christian Dior!

I was all about the plaid minidress, tights and yes! even the shoes!

@LTT1  I had a plaid minidress.  Actually had two - one in yellow/navy and one in red/green.  My sister and I would switch off.

Nobody I knew had tickets, so if you did and kept them, they might be a collector’s item!

My plaid mini dress was pink and gray argyle...my mom helped me make it. lol

That day must have been the start of today’s traffic problems!

But, I’m sure NYC was never a stranger to gridlock!

@LTT1. Actually it wasn’t near NYC. The Thruway was crowded more upstate and going to the middle of nowhere. That’s what upstate NY is like except around a city.

my mom made all my clothes. I grew up in the 60’s, was in high school and nurse school.

I remember those tie scarves that matched dresses you would wear. She would make me I think they were called A line dress (no waist) she would make me matching scarves of the dresses she made me, the only problem was, these scarves were a tad bit to small for my head so I tried not to wear them often.

This looks just like the headgear Celine Dion wore to the Met Gala!  Clearly not just 1960s but timeless.

I OWNED this very sweater shown in the blue/green combo... and with loden  suede loafers, which I accidentally kicked up on top of my elementary school (showing off for a BOY.)
