I prefer pockets in bottoms. Sometimes I'll put a tissue or eye drop vial in a top pocket but I often forget I have a pocket there.

The smaller the breast.....the better you look in clothes. The least amount of curves (the current version of curves) the better you look. That's why you have minimizer bras. And the taller of course. That's what I need. But sadly I can't gain height.

I've never put pockets on any garment I made (fabric or knit/crochet).
Not a fan of pockets. USELESS gets my vote.

I love pockets all my clothes have to have them, dresses too. lol now I do not wear shirts or blouses, more of semi fitted looser tunic type top. Pocket on mine ar usually concealed on front bottom. , mt Zella leggings hav etight pockets, you can hardly. See them. My dresses, are usually straight shift like with pockets in front. I have spinal, back issues. I use stairlift in morning before I go downstairs I fill my pockets with my pill boxes, phone, ear buds, spinal stimulator remote and phone I unload .l then carry phone in pocket. I can't carry stuff around with me. Pockets help. I have sustainable clothing lines made in US and on the pants there are pockets near knee on some I swear you can't even tell they are there. Look like seam detail design. When I get stuff from kitchen I load up before going to sit again with food for the day lol.
ETA. The huge pockets on this pant are on knee, hard to see I like that

I don't like pockets in tops at all. I would never use them. What would fit in a chest pocket that wouldn't make the wearer look like, ummm, a unicorn? Or lopsided?
I don't use the side pockets either except on an outerwear coat or jacket.
But when tops are being shown on the Q, the vendors are always quick to point out the pockets because they say that the customers keep requesting them.
Different strokes for different folks! ![]()

IF and WHEN.....I can find a womans blouse or top that fits me--I have no breasts due to cancer with no recon --pockets kind of give me a little camo from looking totally flat as a pancake. I usually wear a tank top with a shirt over top and if it has a pocket, that is fine.

I am someone who likes clothing that lean to the masculine side. On me, that is, not passing judgements on anyone else's taste. I like crew neck tops and button front collared shirts. Ruffles, lace, puffed shoulders ,etc. are not for me. So...
I do like a chest pocket. Just one, not two. Two chest pockets, to me, show "here they are" hahaha.
My favorite shirts are long sleeved button downs. Two pockets however are not a good look on my 42" chest. Draws attention. One is fine. It is not used anyway.

They're o.k. I don't care one way or the other. I guess they are just decorative because why would you use a pocket on the front of your blouse to put something? It sure wouldn't look nice, that's for sure?
