Re: FOR WHICH OCCASION WOULD YOU RATHER DRESS?

First of all i always "dress" i have not ever gone anywhere naked outside of my home. As for the options the OP presented - I would not fit into any of them as "trendy uptown restaurants" do not exist in this small town. We just have regular ole Mom & Pop diner type restaurants that have been here for ages and ages - and we like it that way. I am usually dressed casually - when I worked I wore scrubs - the only formals I have ever owned are old prom gowns, or bridesmaid dresses and my own wedding gown.I have one black dress i could really stretch and wear to a cocktail party if i had to - that's it.

Casual, I'm retired and the only time I get "dressed up" is for special meals out, not the day to day stop for a quick bite while I'm grocery shopping. "Dressed up" means a nice top (Linea, LCNY or Isaac), and shoes with a slight heel (except now when we have a foot of snow). I'm also a little more careful trying to match my jewelry.

I love dressing formal. Love glitz!
