FASHION SHOPPING ON ANYONE'S RADAR THIS WEEKEND?

I have such a bad case of cabin fever! It has been really hard to get out and about this winter and I am just itching to do a little retail browsing. I don't even know what is out there!

Will you be shopping this weekend? Any good sales that you care to share?

I went to Stein Mart today and there's about 3/4 spring to 1/4 clearence. I found a sweater that looked like it came off the Anthropolgie site, which has beautiful sweaters but they cost way more. I like to see the earliest choices because I sometimes need that heavier spring sweater or jacket. I saw a lot of Ikat prints, which in general are too busy for me, and a lot of lace and gathers which I won't do either. On another note, white slacks are out and they get one shipment of each style, so........

Not this weekend. My kids have some things planned, so I will have my chauffeur cap on. Besides, I had some time a few days ago so I walked through Belk and Macy's. Nothing grabbed my attention. I'll check back in a week or so.

Yes, this is exactly what I want to do - at K of P mall. Something to turn the corner from winter. But I have to plan out what pieces I want to look for. (I don't know what's out there, either.) There are probably end of season sales, if anything.

It sounds like you found a great sweater! Enjoy! We don't have Stein Mart stores here and I didn't know they have a website. I will definitely take a look!

Also have cabin fever , but when I am in this mood, I have to really make myself behave- as I can easily get "carried away!" ${#emotions_dlg.sneaky}$

There will be many new items- still to arrive in stores and I don't want to kill my budget, this early ! ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

My best friend and her mom are going shopping tomorrow. They've been wanting to shop for weeks. My friend is a yo-yo dieter and has lost weight since last fall (about 15 pounds). She says very few of the spring clothes she wore last year fit her. Once she loses (or gains) weight, the old clothes go away and she has nothing to fall back on.

maddie, is this your friend that, when shopping, basically buys a whole new (albeit limited) wardrobe? I find that intriguing and also desirable right now.

I have arranged and rearranged my closet at least 6 times in the last few weeks and finally decided I need a bit of a new look for spring/summer and parted with many items. I now am in the market to do some serious replacing, but plan to shop wisely.

I am going to blame my actions on the weather. Smile

Yes, magic, same friend. She and her mom are MAJOR shoppers! My friend is getting a tax refund and I think the money is burning a hole in her pocket(book). She is definitely an impulse purchaser.

Will you come over and rearrange my closet? Please? I can't seem to get it done. Right now it's half winter and half spring!

I think it's perfectly fine for you to blame the weather!

What are the key items you're looking to replace?

I just can't get into it yet with all the snow on the ground. I bought a few things from the Q but nothing worked out. I do need to hit the stores. We are suppose to be in the upper 40's this weekend. Maybe that will get me in the mood.
