You are still working and go out to lunch and dine out with hubby and family.  I don't have family nearby and husband is disabled.  So, taking him out with disability and dementia is a rare occasion.  I have to pay someone to stay with him when I go to lunch or meetings so I only go out with the ladies who lunch once monthly in summer and attend SS and church.  I have someone who stays with him regularly at those times.

So very sorry for your situation. 

I am more outgoing than DH.  His friends visit his warehouse office and spend so.e time.

He will take me out for an anniversary or something but other than that, it's extremely rare.

I enjoy my girlfriends.   I spent my life rearing two boys and now can enjoy my time.

I don't have to work,  but I would go stir crazy.

I work with color which is my love.

I wish you were near.  I could bring lunch over.

@SharkE   Eyelet is so pretty for summer. I just got two cotton

eyelet tops from Appleseed's. They are tunics with side slits, 3/4

cuffed sleeves  and a split neck. One is aqua and one is orchid. I think that they will look nice with white pants.

I love eyelet for the summer.  Last week I purchased this to wear on vacation. I had something similar 25 years ago.  Over time it yellowed so I dyed it pale yellow.
