A nay for me. I would look ridiculous at 5'2" along with my wide hips (porportionatelly wide) and ample thighs. But, it doesn't bother me if a younger person wants to go for it.

I am not a fan of cuffed pants but these might alright if the pants were longer.

If I had a figure like the model in the photo I'd wear anything. Everything looks good on a svelt body.

I just saw a girl this weekend in  denim wide cuff pants and a white Tee. She looked adorable...of course she was tall and thin. I don't think they are for those us us who are on the shorter side.

I don't care for ankle-length pants, especially wide-legged ones. They look outgrown, or like they shrank in the dryer, IMO. They tend to shorten the appearance of one's legs. The idea is to make your legs look LONGER. Add big cuffs to them, and it appears that you measured wrong when sewing them.

@sidsmom: I really like the wide cuff on the jeans in your pic; that's a definite "Yay!" However, i dislike the wide leg of the original pic - the cuff is okay, but the wide leg is a "Nay!" Here's a similar pic, with an unfinished hem.

That is a big NAY for me...and would be even if the pants did not have a cuff at all.
