Re: Every single color & size still available in LOGO TSV

I'm a LOGO girl, but I didn't care for this TSV so I didn't purchase.

However, I don't think it was a flop having sold something like 50,000 units.

50,000 is a magic number in QVC fashion TSVs. They usually don't buy much more than that. In this case what's leftover must be a couple thousand in broken sizes and not all colors as they did go into One-Time Onlys.

Re: Every single color & size still available in LOGO TSV

do ANY TSVs sell out these days? it seems that the days of TSV sell outs are pretty rare.

i liked it but i didnt buy it.....i may possibly at a later date. it is so cold here right now and i am just not in a rush to buy spring and summer clothing at this point. i have not even had a chance to go through my closets to see what i may ""need"". i am getting ready to do a big consignment sale soon and i have to go through and do some closet clean outs.

Re: Every single color & size still available in LOGO TSV

I'm not a fan and say what you will about this line and about the fact that the TSV remains in many colors and sizes, but Logo has managed to hang on here, and would appear to be one of the few brands introduced at the time it was that has... I remember when QVC used to bring in fresh, new designers often and particularly during and after 'Fashion Week' shows, but it seems the focus now is on house brands and the same few outside brands, of which Logo is among the dwindling few. I don't care for the look, but someone must be buying it unless they're just afraid to cut Lori loose for fear of losing her connections and her as a contact.

Is LOGO an outside brand? Is it available in other retail stores? I have always considered it a "house" brand, but I could be wrong.

It probably is a house brand, but much like Graver, LCNY or Issac, where there is an actual 'outside' 'designer' at least theoretically involved, unlike say D&C, Gili, or something along those lines. As far as it goes, I guess almost every piece of clothing now shown on QVC comes from a line essentially specific to QVC. Even when they had a rotating crop of 'fresh talent', those lines were pretty clearly designed specifically for QVC, it's just that they seem now to rely on the same names and don't seem to be bringing in any new names, even for the short term.

ITA Faerie.

I don't think Logo is a house brand, but I don't know for sure. She sells a lot of tops-more than most "designers" on QVC except for SG.

Morning, Win. I think it would have greatly helped her presentations yesterday (well, all her presentations, really) if they showed the models wearing Lori's tops the way most of us wear them. A pair of jeans, a LOGO top with a print scarf or a cardigan, etc. It doesn't sell the merchandise to show all these models in five shirts topped with a vest, Lori's leggings, Lori's solid scarves used as belts, etc., because 99% of us who like her clothing don't wear it like she does.

Re: Every single color & size still available in LOGO TSV

It's amazing that LOGO is as successful as it is despite the complaints about how the garments are presented/styled.

I will no longer judge the success of a TSV by if it sells out or not. They just do not bring in the quantities like they used to.
