Tucking looks dated, IMO

I have a friend who tucks everything. I always cringe when she comes in with a sweater tucked into jeans.

I have a friend who tucks her t shirts into work out pants. Her husband does too.

Friends don't let friends tuck in anything. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

ITA Briii - tucking is dated.

I think so too. We wore sweaters tucked into jeans in high school in the '70's.

I like to wear shorter over long because I have a short torso and long legs. The look balances me.

{#emotions_dlg.laugh} I don't know what to say to her.

My sister tucked a thin sweater in her jeans once and as soon as I saw it I told her she needed to untuck her sweater. No one tucks anymore. {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

Re: Enough already with shirts sticking out the bottom of other shirts.

I think the look can be really cute and interesting.......but it depends on the outfit, the proportions, and how the garments look on the individual. If poorly done, the look can be sloppy, "fattening", and generally pretty awful. I'm in my mid-60's and round, so I exercise extreme caution in this fashion realm.
