We can all differ on what we don't need to see for another 20 years, but we all have those fashion items!
Here are mine:
Distressed Jeans (unless you got them this way by working on a ranch)
Fringe (shoes, clothes...nowhere but the end of a scarf)
Culottes, gaucho, wide-legged cropped...call what you will. They make most of us look like a 1970's Charlie ad.
Grown-up Ballerina look (Zara is especially guilty of this one for Fall 2016) with tulle skirts and weird lace up toe-shoe flats
Sneaker overload. We get it, they're comfortable. Now, move on

I hate fringe and they put it on everything .

Yes, all of those things ARE on their way out! A while back I started a thread about fashions to retire. In it I listed those things.

I agree with your choices. I haven't seen the ballerina skirts. How horrible! One I would add is the leather/faux leather trim on everything that they had a couple of years ago. I think that fad is gone by now, though.

The only thing I own among the 5 the OP listed, is the sneakers. I wear them gardening and no where else.
Fringes remind me of hippies in the 1960's.
Do not own gauchos -- looks awkward on petite women unless they are the right length.
If my jeans have holes in them, they get tossed.
All that is missing on the ballerina skirt is the matching tiara!

I'm just happy I am not forced to wear many of the styles out right now (OK, any given time!)

I would add BOMBER jackets to this list.
They were everywhere this spring and now, in fall, they've morphed into a version made from shearling.
It is a rare woman who can wear this kind of rounded, puffy, waist-length jacket and not look chopped off into two parts!

I agree with your choices, except that l wear fringe when it's very understated-- not overtaking the whole garment. And l wear sneakers when appropriate-- to the gym or for walking.
