For me, belt loops, like pockets, are an option. If I choose to show an attractive belt, the loops are convenient to hold my belt in place. If I want to take along a quarter for Aldi, a lozenge, a tissue...pockets are  convenient too.

Pay attention to the people you meet, have a smile and something pleasant to say to them and most won't notice your empty belt loops I think.  Maybe?  Woman Embarassed  At least I like to believe that.

@kate2357    I live on the East Coast, north of Boston. I have never heard the term "belt carriers".

We have always referred to them as belt loops.

Re: Empty Pant Belt Loops

[ Edited ]

@kate2357   Your post reminded me of  a very young substitute teacher  who was working at my school, in the early 2000s.

She would wear, low riders and some short tops. When she bent over or reached up, you could see her thong and her tramp stamp above that.

I was in the office one day and a female student, about 12-13 years old, observed that teacher bending over, right in front of her and the look on the girl's face was priceless. She got an eyefull.

Like @ECBG said, "You just can't unsee, some things".

That teacher was not working at our school for very long.

Love them. I wear empty loops all the time.  I especially like the brown set.

I don't even own a belt. Never cared if my belt loops are beltless. Woman Frustrated

I don't wear belts and I don't tuck anything in. I also prefer pants that don't have belt loops.
