It's British, apparently -- I'm pretty sure I've heard Jacqui Stafford use it as well.

What's wrong with elasticated?

Admittedly I'm British but I would use this word without a second thought. So would everyone in the UK.

What other word would you use? Tell me so I don't get someone laughing at me too ....
