Some do and some don't but I like to bring out the dress. Bought a new one last year and have not worn yet and I am wearing that on Sunday. I am looking forward to it. I dressed up in a skirt last Sunday too.

I think it would be fun to wear a hat but I do not look good in a hat. I have seen some ladies in hats though. I just don't have any and won't be buying a new one for one day.

My dress is a pretty summer green and have a white jacket to wear with because church is always cool. I do have a spring jacket too if needed. Not sure what shoes yet but I have plenty to choose from.

We get a mixture. Our church is nondenominational and pretty much anything goes from dressy dresses to jeans. I'll be wearing a coral maxi dress because it is pretty, spring like, and joyful looking, just right for me to celebrate my risen Lord. Last night I wore darker colors to our Good Friday service which was very solemn. To me, Easter is the most important of Christian holidays so I want it to be a real big deal all around and, for me, that includes dressing up. Not everyone feels the need to dress up and that is okay, too. It is a personal preference. Cannot wait to worship tomorrow!!!!!!

Most folks at our church will dress up, probably a bit more on Easter Sunday. I plan on wearing my new blue dress with some silver jewelry. I won't be wearing a hat, but would not be surprised if a lady friend shows up with a decorative chapeau.

Here's the dress, it's from Alloy.

It sure is beautiful! I wish I could wear something like that. Unfortunately, I have too many lumps and bumps. If I didn't, this would totally be my style!

Catholic parish in Manhattan? People here tend to dress up every Sunday .. nothing special on holidays.

Weekday Mass attire tends to be more urban casual and business attire. We have a lot of attendees from surrounding businesses for noon Mass.

When I was little our Mother took us to get Easter dresses, hats, patent shoes & always a little purse to match with our collection money. We carried our Bible. I haven't been to church in years.

We have a small church, but females of all ages tend to dress on the holidays. The men usually wear coats and ties.

My Easter outfit is from the "soon to be late, great departed" Coldwater Creek - a printed skirt and lime green sweater set. Smile

That is a lovely dress in a beautiful shade of blue. It is also very clingy and body-conscious. Kudos for being in shape to wear something like this; most women would be afraid of advertising lumps and bumps. And for Easter Sunday church? Well........personally I think this body-hugging style is more suitable for an evening out. JMO.

At my church some people dress up for Easter, but some come to church in jeans. I have always dressed up for church every Sunday since I was a child. I also sing so I want to look nice (we don't wear choir robes). Tomorrow I am wearing my 3/4 sleeve navy and white geometric wrap dress with navy wedge sandals to church.

Beautiful dress and color. I could see wearing a fascinator with it? I like hats.
