Re: EXCLUSIVE: Stylist Lori Goldstein Buys $9M TriBeCa Apartment in Manhattan

She uses the lowest quality fabrics, but charges high prices. Even with Qvc's cut, she must be making a fortune here.

@Desertdi

When my mother and I moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles in 1966 -- there were no high-rise buildings and parking in a lot was inexpensive. We both worked in downtown Los Angeles). This was before the invasion by so many people from all over the world. Coming out from NY, we used to wonder where everyone was. No one walking, restaurants weren't busy, hardly anyone taking a bus, beaches weren't crowded --- and little traffic on the freeways. It was a total shock. Now it's OVER-CROWDED, rude drivers, parking meters in many areas. I now live in North Oxnard, CA -- and am home most of the time - looking out my living room window while being on my computer (desk-top). Nice and peaceful.
