I loved seeing Prince William paying homage to two of his favorite ladies with a blue vest (the queen's dress) and pink tie (his wife's dress).

@stevieb.  I think the umbrellas give the men something to do with their hands.

The Queen's ankles always look swollen and I wonder if they're painful.  If they are, she's a real trooper with all the standing she does.

My favorite part about looking at photos from royal events is all of the glorious hats.  I am a hat girl myself (mostly in winter, occasionally in summer).  But I cannot fall in love with fascinators.
