@cherry @Greeneyedlady21  I bought the reddish plaid last year from the Joan Rivers collectiion.  I wore it long last year and had tailor cut it off to midi length for a luncheon this year.  I have a black cashmere sweater with what looks like glass bead buttons (Precious Fibers) that I have had for years from Q back in the day.  I had planned to wear them together to a luncheon on the 19th.  I was pleasantly surprised to see this picture of Kate, which assures me I made the right choice (DH did not want me to have skirt cut off).  I think I did the right thing.
