I've often wondered if someone on Kate's staff takes head to toe pictures of what she wears to different events and keeps a catalog noting the event and date. That way she'll never wear a repeat to the same event or wear the exact same outfit the same way twice.

We've seen her repeat lots of outfits with minor changes - maybe she styles her hair a different way, wears different jewelry, carries a different handbag, wears different shoes or a hat. Maybe a combination of more than one thing.

Think of all the events and tours she has undertaken over the years. I don't see how else anyone could keep track of all the outfits.

Would I love to see her closet!!

The Duchess was accompanied into the gallery by Dr Nicholas Cullinan, Director of National Portrait Gallery.

Kate spoke to members of the National Portrait Gallery Youth Forum and learned about the work they are doing.

Kate looked delighted after being given a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
