Re: Duchess Catherine at Wimbledon Today!

I prefer the polka dot dress over the yellow one.

For the most part her stylist chooses appropriate for the occasion outfits. I often wonder how much input she has...🤔

Re: Duchess Catherine at Wimbledon Today!

There are several pics of George at Wimbledon.  Yes, some of them look like he was bored.  I wonder how many of us, if we had that many pics taken of us at public events, would find in some of them that we looked bored???  Of course we would.........none of us can look happy all the time.

I think George enjoyed it.

Great question. I've wondered the same thing. My guess is she's shown 2 or 3 outfits for each occasion and Kate makes her own selection from there.  Again, just a guess.

How wonderful it would be to have her stylist and those designer collections at hand 24/7 !

They're simply a stunningly, beautiful family! Class and grace beyond words. Consummate professionals who will be faithful heirs to the British throne. I think Diana would be incredibly proud of the man William has become, the life he has made with his family, and his dedication to his duties & responsibilities.  Bravo, William! Heart Heart

I'm sure many of us in our younger years could eat king's sized portions and still remain thin.  I know I did.

The kicker was when my metabolism slowed down, but my appetite didn't.  Was a hard lesson to learn!

I think so too. It was apparently quite hot that day and he and others, it seems, would have preferred not to be over-dressed, or so he supposedly told his day, as most little boys would have, but overall, he looks to have had a good time. It was reported he was a bit taken aback by some of the language put out there by the ill-tempered Aussie, who lost.

Kate always looks impecable. But for her gowns, her daytime looks are pretty predictable. She's not much of a fashionista, but she is always appropriate and beautiful and fresh.

My heart breaks for that little boy who seems so uncomfortable and shy with all the flashing lights and attention on him. He obviously does not enjoy it. It is such an unatural situation for an 8 year old. But it's his reality and he will have to attend these outings as Prince of Wales and then King. What a weird thing to have to teach your baby. I can't say I blame those who have decided they would rather raise their children away from the limelight- like every single one of the Queen's grandchildren except for William, who is effectively "trapped". He and Kate seem to handle the situation thoughtfully and patiently.

"Trapped" is Harry's description of William's life. William has denied feeling that way, and seems at age 40 to have embraced his role as future king. Harry shouldn't put words into others' mouths.

@Pearlee Lots of people are trapped in family farms, family businesses, where they live, etc.  Trapped is another way of saying responsibility, duty, supporting your family, paying your dues, etc.  It's all how you look at it.  Then there's "obligation" and "your share of the load."

@Sooner  ?  My point was Harry was speaking for William. I really don't understand why you are directing your remarks to me, or telling me something that I already know.
