Driftwood Jeans and Others Question

Need reviews on Driftwood, NYDJ and others.  I have purchased D & C and Dreamjeannes before but I'm lookiing for something a litle different.  I buy a XL and sometimes a PXL in both.  I would like a little lighter weight fabric, stretch and prefer pull on and prefer closer to the leg not necessarily jeggins but maybe skinny leg or straight.  I'm not sure of the brands I haven't tried as there are so many styles, fabrics and differences in sizing.  Help.....

Re: Driftwood Jeans and Others Question

Re Driftwood - not much stretch and you would need to go up one size from your QVCsize.  Generally not pull on.

With NYDJ you go down one size from your QVC size.  They use different blends of fabric so you would have to see what was used in each style.  Most not pull on but they do some.

Re: Driftwood Jeans and Others Question

I've had good experiences with both Me by Jennie Garth and LOGO jeans. My favorites from QVC forever were from Laurie Felt, perfect fit for me. After she left QVC, I searched every week to find returned "as is" jeans in her line. I have probably half a dozen. LOGO is the brand that comes close to them. Good luck!

I have never tried Driftwood.  I have been wearing NYDJ since the company began, long before they ever came to QVC.  I like the fit.  I like the quality and washes.  I do not size the way they harp on.  I use their size chart.  I buy D&Co but lately I have fallen in love with LOGO boyfriend style jeans.  They really work for me.  I have fuller thighs and a booty so straight, boyfriend and boot cut are my styles.

My fav jeans are Joan Rivers and Kim Gravel. Nice fabric and easy fit. But,of course neither pair are no longer available. Might be available on another platform. I especially like the hem on the JR jeans. It is a frayed hem, scalloped. Kim G.'s have cuffs.

Re: Driftwood Jeans and Others Question

I am currently on a Driftwood jeans kick. I love embroidery and something different, so it fits the bill. Their styles have anywhere from 1 to 2% spandex in them. The most recent pair I bought has 2% and I found them to have a lot of stretch, so much so, that I opted for a size down. Have not yet tried one with the 1% but it seems many of their styles are of a "relaxed" fit and so may need to size down 1-2 sizes depending on preferences. I also have some NYDJ pants, not jeans, and I like them. My best reccommendation is Kim Gravel's flexibelle pull on jeans. They fit me to a tee, hold me in where needed, don't gap at small of the back, don't ever bag out, and make your body look amamzing. I also like Isaac Mizrahi's pull on denim in the 95% cotton 5% spandex blend. They also look and fit amazing. So for the top two pull on styles for me are IM and Kim Gravel flexibelle.

Re: Driftwood Jeans and Others Question

Can't justfy paying HUGE prices for "jeans".    I can find them for less than $20 at Ross, Marshall's, etc.    (And they fit just fine.)

I bought two different styles of the Driftwood jeans . Both were heavier weight  jean material  as compared to NYDJ .

No they don't have the stretch as NYDJ  nor is the leg narrow on most of their styles . One  pair was Royce ,  I bought   pair was Royce that had abt a 16" leg opening . Look at the actual chart that has dimensions for waist, hip ,  leg opening  for proper sizing ..
