It seems like every dress now has tiers and layers. Although some are cute, I can't wear things that are tiered. I guess I'll be saving money and not buying many dresses for this Spring/Summer. LOL!!

What are your thoughts on the tiered dresses?

I don't like them, way to much fabric.

Yes, I've noticed the same thing. I went to Loft and they had so many cute dresses, but most had tiers. I don't understand what that's all about, it gives the dress more of a prairie look and most create bulk. Personally, I like a sleeker streamlined look.

Agreed. The tiers and extra fabric makes me look frumpy. I'm a big girl so I don't need any extra bulk.

Designed by repressed  men... who want women to be back in "the little house on the prairie"?

We'll know for sure when they stop selling shoes.

Hadn't really noticed as I never ever wear a dress and I don't see very many people out and about wearing a dress of any kind.

I agree. I'll take it further and call tiers ugly and unattractive on 99% of women over age 8. There is no way you'll find me in a tiered anything.

I have recently purchased a couple tiered dresses and love them. It all depends on our personal style. And although most comments are very negative regarding the tiered style, I wear them proudly. These are so comfy and in no way do I feel I am in Little House on the Prairie.

I have received compliments on both but mostly on the blue/green one. I had two different people actually stop me in the store and ask where they could buy it and seemed really interested, I told them QVC.

I own two more tiered dresses but can't find photo's.

@cjm61  - I'm not opposed to dresses with tiers either .  Many are nice and I would certainly wear them.

They look fine if you are over 5'8 and thin as a rail.  I am pear shaped and tiers are a big no-no..
