How are these fitting those of you who got them?

I sized up - as directed - to a Small (according to click here, I should have been an XS.)

They fit, but the rise seemed short. And it is. According to click here, the back should be 15". Mine is 13. The front rise is correct.

Thankfully, I don't have a large tush, but still.

So now I'm wondering if this problem became apparent when the models tried them on - thus the direction to size up???

Or have I once again just gotten a defective item.

I'm concerned because an XS became available this morning and I ordered it in another color and now I don't know what to do. If the measurements are correct, it will fit, but if the rise is off by 2 inches, it will not.
