Does anyone else remember Doris Dalton selling a special lipstick brand years ago? They were great; one was one of those lipsticks that had no color until you put it on.

Still available on Amazon.   (I used to purchase Fran Wilson thru a "beauty supply").    Loved their cake eyeliner!

@Desertdi  - I was looking at the cake eyeliners on Amazon.  I've never used one before.  Does the color hold well?  Just wondering if they've got better staying power that non-cake eyeliners.

I really can't speak for today's cake eyeliners.    I haven't used them in years.    However, I really liked them because you could get coverage close to or inside the lash line.   I also used to "dot" my lower lashes.   I changed to pencil liners, mainly for the convenience of not having to have a container of water handy.      di

Bought a few of these at The Dollar Tree. Can't find them anymore. I always wanted the lipcolor that looked black but would turn color on your lips. The q sold them for $30.00.

I've had really good results from Bobbie Brown's.

She had a lipstick like that in her Doll 10 line sometime in the past year.  I think I got it on HSN.

Reminds me of Tangee Lipstick ... it changed color when you applied it ... and the smell was luscious!

Anyone else remember Tangee?  They still sell it on Vermont Country Store.
