I always look at the on-line measurements and compare to a similiar item in my closet. If the on-line measurements are different than what I receive then I call CS so that I can send it back on their dime. Why should we have to pay return postage due to their lack of quality control? Until it hits them in the pocket, they will continue as they do now.

Just mark it as defective and you wont be charged shipping

We can't trust QVC's measurement chart because their clothing is made in so many different countries.....some in Mexico, China, Turkey and on it goes. Metric vs our standard - cheap fabric vs high quality fits differently. I've given up on Q's clothes too - do buy some D&C jeans and capri - but that's about all and I have an adequate supply for now.
Also so tired of D&C and all the bright greens/red/orange colors - I want soft pastels for summer and even for the other seasons. They look like a child's coloring box.

Did you check the measurements before you ordered? Do you even know that the garment measurements are online? Read the text describing the item; at the end you'll see CLICK HERE. You'll see all the measurements you'll ever need. It's best to first measure a well-fitting garment from your closet and compare with those of the piece you want to buy.To answer you, yes, I did check the measurements. I don't think you understand that I have been buying from QVC for years and I am really tired of these sizes and charts don't match and don't make any sense. Especially D&C, always completely wrong when it comes to the size. So back it goes, andi think I will try Champagnenoodle suggestion of marking it defective. They have gotten enough money from me over the years with returns. I'm done.

I used to buy my clothes from the Q (2001 - 2007). I never sent anything back. Recently I bought Liz Claiborne leggings, and based on the chart for them, an XL should have fit - wrong, I was swimming in them, and had to return them.
I learned my lesson and I think the posters on this thread have good input/advice about many of the brands sold here. I don't know about the Linea line, that is something I'd like to explore. I've checked out the reviews but the ones that get high marks also get zeros for "helpfulness" in the 'was this review helpful?' category.

I'm quitting too and I've been buying since around '94. I only buy Linea now. I find I almost always am one size, but I do look at the measurements and at times go down a size. I don't think I've ever returned a Linea item because it didn't fit.

It smelled of literally bug spray and I think a lot of the Denim and Company clothing is sprayed before it comes to us from China. I did order some clothing from Liz and that did not have the bug spray smell.
Denim and Company's XXS is equal to about an 8 in brick and mortar stores. It seems to get larger and larger every time I order it and most of it doesn't fit me either...
I found that with Denim & Company too. Years ago I bought a few items, but no more.

I would love to order clothing from QVC, but the sizing is so inconsistent I would spend a fortune in returns.
