If you live near a lot of shopping, you certainly CAN find things cheaper. Yes, Kohl's has tee shirts much cheaper than QVC. I will never pay more than $24 for a tee shirt. Even if you shop at Macy's or Dillards, their items go on sale and you can get very nice things for a great price without shipping.

QVC's sales tactics would have you believe that you cannot get a better deal "out in the marketplace", but they are sadly mistaken. I watch but rarely buy. Little skimpy tee shirts for $48, plus shipping and tax? I don't see that as a good deal at all. Usually, I will buy something from QVC IF I can't find it in the stores. I feel sorry for people who live in the middle of nowhere because they have no choice but to pay through the nose.

????? This makes absolutely no sense. You can shop online from many places regardless of where you live and you don't have to overpay. Using your examples of Kohl's, Macy's and Dillards - you don't need to live near them to buy from themver. All you have to do is go to kohls.com., macys.com or dillards.com and shop to your hearts content and you can get sales and free or discounted shipping.

People that can't/won't shop in B&M stores AND don't have computers or won't/are afraid to shop online are the very small percentage that would have to shop from places like QVC, HSN, etc. over the phone.

For some, buying clothes is a hobby, game, or diversion. For others, they need clothes. That makes a LOT of difference in what you spend on clothes. If you want a few good t-shirts, or if you like buying and shopping and want a LOT of things that affects what you spend per item greatly.

I've pretty much given up watching the Q too... and for a whole litany of reasons.

Macy's has sales all the time, you can order online and pick up in the store. I know they ship because I ordered a Bobbi Brown cosmetic kit they did not have in store

Have any of you tried lastcall.com? It is a Neiman Marcus web site

with good prices.

Even better, I have a NM Last Call store just a few miles from home! A fun place to forage!
