After 20 years I'm finally burnt out on watching. I forget it is on and haven't even watched it this year.
I would rather shop online but I want free shipping and that's what I get elsewhere.

I am mostly an online shopper- (catalogues) usually don't go into stores. However when shopping for groceries I have found some terrific fashion items at Costco and at Walmart.. great pricing. I don't buy much from QVC anymore, prices have climbed.

I called CS and they assured me they would send me the new color and even let me keep the easy pay it was on. After waiting over 30 days and a big mix-up I decided to cancel my order. When I cancelled it the top was being sold at 52.67 so they are still making a profit with 3.00 s+h by raising prices. There is no gift for us.Over paying is a choice some make for the sake of convenience, I get that, but what bothers me is the new S&H policy. While some might consider this a "gift", I see it for what it is, an excuse for QVC to fatten up their bottom line at the expense of their customers.
I refuse to pay $30 for an item only to find inconsistent sizing which, in turn, results in my having to pay $6.95 + the original $3 S&H to ship back. When S&H amounts to 30% of the cost of the item I say it's time for me to stop shopping.
It's really a shame what happened to QVC over the years...it's just not what it used to be.

It would help if they would let us pick what we need from their inventory and be able to put it on easy pay. I feel like I've been waiting forever and its always the same things and same brands they offer that on.

Plaid Pants: I've said this before and I'll say it again: these clothes are all made in the same sweat shops. If you really look at the Walmart clothes there are many similarities.

Sometimes WalMart has the nicest fabrics! I just haven't really looked at clothes there in a while, but now I'll keep an eye out.

For me the point is I don't like to shop. I have a few places I buy clothes, never spend time surfing for clothing other than LL Bean, Land's End and QVC for casual, and Talbots for just about everything else.
I also don't have tons of clothes or shoes, and mostly buy when I need something new. You couldn't pay me to spend time hanging around Kohls, Pennys, Dillards or other local stores trolling for clothes.

And the price of gasoline is sometimes the same amount (as shipping charges)(and/or probably more) because of driving around from store to store, mall to mall. Not to mention the time in trying to match/coordinate items.
I see this comment every single bloomin' time somebody complains about QVC prices, in an effort to justify shopping from QVC.......and it makes my head want to explode! You're missing the point.
You can find the deeply discounted sale prices at department stores' and online sellers' websites! You don't have to drive or trek store to store to find deals. If you shop various stores and get on their email lists, you will even receive email notifications of sales and clearance events and sometimes additional special deals or coupons. I got great sale notices from Land's End and JC Penney just this morning. You can see pictures, check sizing and details, see what items and sizes are available, and order with a few quick mouse clicks. It is EASY to find great fashion items under $40 (sometimes WAY under!) if you are open to shopping around online! Many sellers offer free shipping, too. One of the beauties of ordering online from department and chain stores is that if necessary you can return items to your local store! No repacking, labeling, and paying for return shipping. Beautiful!
Excellent response.

To further add..I think they rely on the old stable of people who think the hosts and vendors are "their friends.." who chat about family etc.. who think showing them sneak peeks are because they are buds ...when in fact it adds to the bank account which whether they want to admit is the ultimate goal.
They also aim for the ones who can't afford full price at once so those 'easy pays' are great..get it home for xx amount of dollars...knowing they can't afford it then get upset when due to billing cycles two payments hit their accounts in the same month ending in overdrafts.
Lasty the other target is the ones who have the credit card.
Q, Vendors and Hosts are in the business to SELL..that is the bottom line. They are not our friends, our buds, as long as we increase sales they are happy!
