@Group 5 minus 1  After Labor Day, I do not wear white pants or white shoes or use a white pocketbook.

I do wear crisp white blouses/shirts throughout the year.

I've never been one to wear stark white, as it doesn't suit my coloring.  But, if I had something in white, I'd wear it whenever I wanted to; I don't let the fashion pundits dictate what I do or don't wear.

It's the same with pink and green together.  I've loved that combination since I was a kid and in recent years they're saying how you "can wear these colors together!"  Oh, really?

@Venezia   My dream "feminine" bedroom would be all pink and green.  I love that combination.

I don't own a lot of solid white so it's not a big issue for me. I might wear my white jeans and jackets a few more weeks if it's a warm September Day. I wear my long sleeve white tees layered under pullover sweaters in cold weather, and I have a white button down I wear all year. I have some printed tops with white that "scream summer" and others I can wear in cooler weather.

I thought it was just white shoes, but I also think that rule has long been put to rest as most fashion rules have. It's still in the 90's here, so I see no reason why one wouldn't wear white and any of their summer attire.  I would expect folks in FL totally ignore that old fashion rule. 

I don't own any white except 1 white button-down and my gym shoes which I wear year-round.  White is just too hard to keep clean.

Lol, those "fashion rules" went out with the last century. While I don't own any "white" other than tees and tops, I will however, wear them whenever I feel like it. So far, it hasn't caused anyone any harm, so I'll just continue to think for myself. Have a good one, lol.

I dress according to the weather.  It's still hot outside.  I'll continue to wear white.

I thought not wearing white after Labor Day was a thing of the past?
