Hope I spelled Neru right, I'm dating myself, but I still can recall back in 1969 I wore a Neru jacket as a dress. We were wearing mini dresses back then, the jacket was longer and being petite I could get away with it as a mini dress.

Yes. At around the same time I remember Dr. Kildare shirts being very popular -- anyone remember that show? And Ben Casey?

I do. I'm a child of the 60's you bet I remember them. Anyone remember the see through blouses.
I never will forget. When we were first married in the mid 60's my husband worked two jobs and went to college. He'd worked his way up to Assistant Manager of a grocery store.
I went to see him. He had to be a checker due to lack of helpers. The person in front of me in his line was wearing a see through blouse.
I was young, jealous of everyone. I watched to see if he'd notice. He was soooo smooooooth. His eyes never left her eyes! We talked about that for years.
I hate that kind of collar. Drives me crazy.

I remember that show and I had a Dr. Kildare shirt, but I think that was in the mid sixties. I remember the see through blouses too. How about hot pants, I remember those in the early seventies, my Dad would not let me out of the house wearing those.

I think it was Ben Casey that did the symbols at the beginning of the show: man, woman, birth, death and infinity. That always fascinated me for some strange reason.
Nehru jackets are a flashback to the 60's....not a good look!

I think it was 1961 to 66 and then Dr. Ben Casey was after that. We had his shirts with the signs that were shown at the start of his show.

I have to put in my two cents. I was in love with Dr. Casey. LOL During the 60's I was either having babies or expecting babies. I wouldn't change a thing. I love my life.

Yes and I love them!! I bought a white one last year and I have a denim one with orange satin trim up the front and around the top!! They look really cute with skinny jeans!
