Just wondering.  Thanks!

We have a STAGE store here. I think they are owned by the same company. Never been inside it though.

I've been to one years ago in Gainesville, FL.  It is closed now.  Yes, it appears they are owned by Stage.

We had a 'Stage' store in our town..it did not last long.  Now it's called Peebles....it's low end name brand clothing. I have only been in a handfull of times....not to much appeals to me.

Stage is the mother store and owns Peebles. I have a Peebles in a nearby town and love shopping there. It's a mini-department store. Just big enough.

Goody's, Peebles, Stage Stores, Palais Royal and Bealls are all owned by the same company.

They have a wider variety online than in the stores - and I can purchase online and return to a local store. Shoes...Bare Traps, Easy Spirit, Propet, Nike, Fila, Puma, addidas, Lifestride and Flexus (Springstep)...and you can get some good deals on shoes if you know your size.

I guess the best way to describe them is that their higher end is more of the lower-end you would find in a good department store.

I love Goody's.  They have great sales.  Usually coupons all through the year for fantastic sales 20-50% off.  Similar to "Ross" but not as big.

We used to have one.  Loved that store.  Nice T-shirts.  I bought a cute leather wallet now worn out.  Never got so many compliments on a cheap wallet.  Unfortunately Goody's went away, replaced by Stage now also defunct.  Seems all the cute stores fall by the wayside and are replaced by stores that all sell the same stuff.  Used to drive to Texas because they had a store with very unique clothing and European shoes.  After a few years they closed the small store and built much bigger.  Didn't last long because all the cute, unique stuff was gone and replaced with the usual stuff, same ol' same ol'.  Wish buyers would realize that people want different and unique thngs.  One of the reasons Macy's and all the other mall department stores are in financial trouble.  Not worth the trip to the mall it's all the same.

I think Goody's are in smaller towns.  We have one in our town. They have nice brands, reasonable prices but they are smaller stores.  It's a convenient place to shop for a nice outfit.

We have Goody's in my town. I've been in there a total of once. It reminds me very much of Kohl's. I don't personally care for it but my sister loves it.
