It's all about the shades of color for me. Eggplant purple-yes, Minnesota Vikings purple- no. True red-no. Raspberry red/pink ( not hot pink)-yes. I guess I'm not cut out for the red hat club!

I love purple but the shades that flatter me don't seem to translate to fabric very well.

My eye color and complexion look good in a light purple/violet, so I have a few blouses and sweaters in that shade and I feel good in them. Dark purple makes me look flu-ish, so I don't wear it at all.

Depends on your coloring, I'm sure.

I dont, but I like purple. I wear a lot of darker red for some reason, i guess I am just drawn to that color.

Yes! I love purple, especially deep. royal purple. It's one of the colors that looks best on me.

Purple is my favorite color...if I can find a nice sweater/shirt absolutely...I have a purple gorgeous Jones NY Rain Coat lol..and a ton of purple scarves to loop..with various purple colors...I wear them often!!
