Just wondering because I often hear hosts stating that if you purchase a certain garment "everyone will think you spent (fill in large amount) on it!"

I'm curious if others actually do that because it has never occurred to me to!

I notice it but only marginally.  More than what they're wearing, I notice how they treat others--i.e., whether or not they're kind.

The only time I even notice what someone else is wearing is if it is either extremely trashy or extremely beautiful. Never do I give a thought to how much they spent. Why would anyone care what someone else spends on their clothing.
