Re: Do you have a favorite outfit that makes you feel put together?

@chrystaltree

I enjoyed the description of your outfit.  It sounded great in every way.

It is fun to dress nicely and feel put together.

I had to laugh  too because sometimes I really get fixed up for a rather

casual lunch.  My husband who loves to garden takes a look and laughs

with a funny line," I better put my better shorts on---everyone will think I'm

your gardner".

Here comes the slob to ruin the thread!  Cover your eyes!  I don't have any outfits that I'd say really make me feel put together because I don't wear tailored things.  I do have some items that suit me and that I enjoy wearing, though.

I love the look of pencil skirts and heels, but I can't walk in the heels and the skirts feel confining.  I also don't feel I'm someone who looks good in them because I don't feel like myself.  I always wear pants (mostly dungarees) and tunics or a sweater coat.  Unless it's hot, I wear ankle boots.  I picked up a couple of Jamie Gries' sweater coats at 2/3 off (same item, different colors) and am just insane over them lately.  It's still so cool here that I have four sweater coats hanging by the front door.  I hope to be able to put them away until next fall soon.

I am an underachiever in the fashion department.  I could never pull off the beautiful outfits posted above, especially Stylish Lady's leather suit.  Woe is me!

Hilarious!  Presumably he's not dressed up enough to be mistaken for the butler.

Re: Do you have a favorite outfit that makes you feel put together?

I try to look put together and feel good in most of my outifts.  At work I tend to wear straight leg dress pants with nice tops and/or cardigans.  I love a jean with boots and a turtleneck for casual wear in the fall and winter.  My favorite outfits though are my knee length dresses and skirts.  I am a bit self conscious about my heavy legs and wider hips, and my dresses and skirts flatter my shape more than pants.
