Re: Do you get "dressed up" for Easter?

I have always dressed up for Sunday mass. Easter is no exception. We always had our Sunday dress up clothes as children.

People at my church come dressed in everything from suits to jeans and shorts with tees every weekend. I am the soloist at my church so I usually wear a dress or skirt and top. We do not wear choir robes like @Shawnie so I want to look nice when I am singing in front of the congregation.

I play at a church most Sundays. I usually wear a skirt/jacket outfit. That's what I'll wear on Easter.

I always dress Sunday-go-to-meeting but that is not to say I am overdressed in new finery, just dressed as I feel appropriate.  Usually wear heels unless I have issues with balance, etc., wear dresses, suits to church or slacks and blazers, carry a backpack as well as a handbag.  I am active in the SS ministry, ESL and local missions.  In addition to my Bible and student/teacher/leader materials,I need an Etablet and a paper tablet.
