Do you buy more fashion/shoes/accessories in spring or fall?

I find that I'm more excited and like many more of the spring/summer items than I do the fall/winter clothes...........when the fall/winter season hits, I'm just ready to hibernate and stay put until spring!

I am a snowbird - I live in Florida and for the summer months I go north to W. Pa. to our camp there. Thus I live a life of perpetual summer - with a small taste of late spring and early fall.I already own all the winter clothing I need. I usually wait to buy clothing until we get to Pa. each year because clothing is not taxed in Pa.

Fall is my favorite season, so the colors and textures of fall clothing gets me excited.🍁🍁

Shoes .... spring ... I have a "thing" about shoes.  I like colorful shoes in warm weather.

Accessories ...  probably equal fall and spring

clothes .... spring

I have a lot of fall winter scarves to keep warm.  This week we had a morning with 24 degrees.

I have some beautiful scarves and will spend more if I find one I just love.  It's the top layer of the outfit and the first thing that's noticed as well as being right under your face.

Peruvian Connection has some beautiful scarves.  Joan Rivers had some beautiful scarves, and I also loved Rachel Zoe's scarves.

Granted, I'm not out and about as much in the winter as I am when the weather is nice because I work remotely from home.  This year, I bought fewer winter items but I still bought things...just because I loved them.  I started spring shopping on 3/1 and I'll buy fewer things this years because I don't need a lot of things.  But I'm going to shop.

I love shopping in spring/summer.  My mood is lighter and the clothes don't cost quite as much.

But I prefer to look at Fall clothing. The September Vogue is a favorite.  And I am a boot girl for sure. I bet I buy at least two new pair every Fall.

I'm in a cooler area, so I buy more Fall/Winter/Early Spring items.  As far as Summer, I buy a few inexpensive items per year, mainly for drives into warm weather areas. I take good care of my Summer clothes, so my Summer items last and last, mainly because they are not worn all Summer long.  Machine wash, hang  or dry flat.  .... However, I can see why very inexpensive Summer items just might 'fall apart' for others in very warm areas when the dryer is used over and over again instead of air drying.  Also, they are probably worn all Summer long.  (Rather long, frivolous, meaningless reply of mine, lol.)

Live in So Cal. I find I am an equal opportunity purchaser of way too many handbags year round.

Truth is I have too much of everything. My clothes and things that I wear out in the world will never wear out. I do have a weakness for jewery.
