@Caaareful Shopper- This is a good look you're describing.  I wore mine with a pair of dress slacks (to work).  Mine have the matching belt that I tied in the back and wore open in the front - and with hoop earrings!  Smiley Happy

I follow Susan After 60 and she sells some basic dusters that are chiffon in the back, which I think is a good idea.

Love those side slits!  I have a blue french terry duster and a duster length vest, and wear them often. I like them mid calf on me.
