No I have no idea why anyone would want to advertise for "free" for these "so-called" overpriced designers or these "affirmations". I find this trend boring.

Plus, I dress very traditional (or preppy as spouse says) - I love Talbot clothing or clothing which is "timeless" in style.

I have a long sleeved t that has a Christmas saying that I will wear casually - shopping etc. I was gifted with it . It fits well , is an evergreen color that I like , and quite comfy. Otherwise I have pants from Kim Gravelle (?) that says on the inside waistband " believe in your own beauty " . I like the pants ,but when I put them on and see that I roll my eyes. I would prefer to pay less totally than pay the extra cost that must entail.

I have a 'stick on the wall ' affirmation in my living room and bedroom about gratitude. I like to be reminded and think people would feel better when blessings are counted first in life .

I feel one should do what makes one happy if it doesn't hurt someone else as far this topic.

I don't own any clothing with words or sayings on them. I find it off putting. And I think the "blessed" woman who hit me with her shopping cart and went on her merry way would do well to look for a "good manners" tee.

I don't rule out all clothing with text. I like some of it and I don't like some of it.

I don't wear any clothing with affirmations, funny sayings, holiday decor or sports teams on them.

I have purchased clothing with text. Thing is though, it doesn't come from QVC. I have no problem with it for the most part. It's just a matter of what it says "for me."

I was so tempted to buy the TSV slippers yesterday.

Then I saw every slipper had some saying on it. No thank you. I want slippers that are comfortable and keep my feet warm. I don't care to have any sayings on slippers.

I doubt anyone would notice what saying is printed on your slippers.
