I prefer the longer length, as I've never embraced the style of tops hanging below the hemline of the shorter jackets.

I have yet to find a denim jacket I don't like!  The only thing that stopped me from buying a longer one, is that I already have 6!

I really have to talk myself out of any more jackets!  Although our fall has been very pleasant, I've had chances to wear them all.

Short, long or middle length.  If I love the jacket and it fits I will wear it.  I do not worry about being all legs, or very short waisted or whatever for a jacket.  I wear what jacket I like and feel good in. 

I love denim jackets and coats. Not crazy about embellished ones--don't have any of those.

Yes, long jean jackets (or any other jacket) appeal to me.  I have several and different lengths.  I like options and like longer jackets best.

People with big behinds really look the best in the longer ones. I hate to see a big woman with a tiny jacket on that would only look good on Kirstan, Jennifer Coffy, Amy Stran

Petite and flat chested set are the only ones that look good in the shorty jackets.

Jane T looks good in the longer jackets.

It's hard for me to not buy a denim jacket.  I think I have about 15 of them now.  All lengths, all styles. Most are regular length. 

But I have 3 of the longer style, and I love them.  I also have 1 long, extended shoulder denim vest:

I bought this style from Susan Graver, it does not have a sewn in waistband.  Those always hit me too high, so do that draw cord in anoraks.  I also have a longer "trucker" slightly frayed jacket from All Worthy.
