Just curious...why do you open threads about Lisa then?

For some reason I cannot get beyond this fact: Joan Rivers passed and not too long after Lisa decided to depart from QVC. I never thought Fashion Police was a fit for her temperament and likes (and, of course, someone more in line with that facet of Joan's personality got the assignment), but there was always the fashion industry aspect of Joan that needed to be fulfilled. Yes, there is David Dangle, but what about a feminine face for the Joan Rivers Classics Collection?
There is something about the void that was there following Joan's untimely demise and Lisa's movement to something else that seemed part of the same scheme of things to me.
As you can guess, I love trying to find patterns and reasons behind things.
[And yes, the kickoff could be a spot on The Apprentice.]

What I thought stood out was that the CEO didnt come out at the end to wish her luck and thank her He came out for David on his last anniversary

By the way I have never watched her shows, I do think she is very attractive and can not understand the amount of hate some bitter middle aged women feel for her.Too bad that trashy Honey boo was canceled, you probably feel at home watching that train wreck. Nothing to be jealous of in that group .May be you can watch reruns golfcart. You might feel better about yourself if you give walking a try , it is great for the mind and body ! So be it !
My My such hate coming from someone with the name lovesbe.
For the record, I do not care where Lisa ends up nor do I follow her on facebook and have NEVER said that I do. How and why are you to presume that I would watch Honey Boo in any form and it really is none of you biz if I did.
If this made you feel better about yourself I really hope it worked, and while YOU are out walking maybe you should let your mind and body think about what is going on before you spew over.
Slow down and have a little fun.

CEO is probably not too happy to see his main Cash Cow leave the pasture, especially after they invested all that money getting GILI off the ground. So maybe everyone at QVC knew it would be phony. Most hosts don't get as much as a cake when they leave. Now back to Lisa, I find it hard to believe she would be happy selling real estate, Donald Trump or no Donald Trump backing her. This woman loves the limelight, I predict another job in TV. I also think the timing is highly suspicious after Joan's death. But maybe it just made her realize time is a wastin' and its time to fulfill a new dream.

You better be careful, the Lovers are going to come out and get you for making this observation.

Yup, that's what I heard also. I heard nothing mentioned about him knowing what Lisa's next venture was going to be.

Deppie, I think you have a realistic assessment of matters. To be honest, I have watched only part of one episode of The Apprentice, and so I do not really know what premise it is built on. I thought the contestants (apprentices) were given a project to work on. Is it always related to real estate? I believe Lisa is capable of working on a challenging project.

I found him to be likable and knowledgable about the jewelry, pointing out the importance of the colors chosen for the stones and the prongs. I am sure he will improve with more on-air appearances. A little patience and understanding makes the world a better place. That Liz Taylor rep wasn't a particularly bright bulb, was he? He said awkward things all night. Lisa was way ahead of him, smoothing the way.
well stated
He was a nice guy and told some interesting stories about Liz Taylor, but he was very awkward and made some embarrassing gaffes. I rolled my eyes along with Lisa when he suggested that one of the big, honking rings could be used as a "pinky ring" (oh, of course!).......and then he pointed out several times that the Krupp diamond look-alike would have to be cleaned thoroughly and often or it would "look awful". Nice. He made a political comment that President Reagan "did nothing for AIDS". There were some other awkward exchanges. He just wasn't savvy about or ready for on-camera patter. Good old Lisa was "covering" behind him all night, and probably very thankful she won't be around if he's ever back for a repeat performance........
