I ordered a Medium and it's a little big. Directions say to wash in cold and flat dry. I wonder if I put it in the dryer if it would shrink a little or would I ruin it?

Probably won't shrink it.  It might change how it feels or the silkiness or sheen of it though.

Depends on the material if it shrinks or not.  I order very few things that says dry flat.  The items I do have I put them in the dryer on my lowest heat setting or air dry cycle.  No problems for me.

Personally, I wouldn't put it in the dryer hoping it would "shrink."

Thanks for the replies. If I keep gaining weight it'll fit. I love the Belle jeans but wasn't sure of the sizing on the tops. Looks like they run big.
