Re: Did You Get Clothes For Christmas?

Leather is not hot to wear!  It depends on what it is lined with and what is worn beneath it.

"So as you can see, it all depends on the type of leather jacket.
A thin fashion leather jacket with no liner is cold, **** cold.
A shearling sheep leather jacket is really warm.
All the rest fall in between."

Leather is not warm on it's on!

The dress is beautiful!

No clothing, everyone knows I like to pick out my own clothing.

Yes, a very cute red and navy plaid dress from Anthro. I had to give mr henny plenty of hints.

Also the TSV vest from denim and co. Gold with cream on the reverse. Perfect for CA.

Re: Did You Get Clothes For Christmas?

i got a red cashmere blend scarf/wrap from jjill from my mom.

i also received black pants and a long black sweater from jjill. also from my mom.

the kids gave me a barefoot dreams ombre open cardigan from nordstrom......they now know how much i LOVE this brand.

my daughters boyfriend gave me vionic slippers because he sees how much i wear them around the house.

everything else i received were cash, gift cards, and jewelry, and  non-clothing items.

@Zhills

for me, leather is VERY hot to wear. i have given away ALL of my suede and leather clothing because it makes me sweat......even in the dead of winter. i had a lot to give away. the only leather items i buy now are gloves, handbags, and shoes.

I wear mine because they are not warm unless I wear something warm underneath them.  Polyester makes me warm!

interestingly, polyester doesnt make me warm, especially if it is a thinner material.

i pretty much wear tanks or camisoles under everything now......sweaters, jackets, toppers. i can barely wear a winter coat anymore. i LOVE capes, ruanas, and ponchos.
