Diane Gilman TS HSN Special today...

Ordered my first pair of DG today, but really doubting the sizing...

I've wanted light gray jeans for a while, so I wanted to try these. Of course judging by the garment measurements it's still hard to nail the size...

I'm 5'1.5" but always like "regular" better on me, so got regular. I'm usually 2/4, more 4 now, but not 6...but of course it's not numeric sizing, so xs-is 0-2, and s-is 4-6. With 8% spandex (that's a lot) there's lots of stretch, and a wide looking waist in the presentations...I still went for xs. Which sounds tiny, but I just thought the way they looked 4-6 might be all kinds of baggy.

All that being said....anyone have feedback on DG jegging, pull ons with 8% spandex?? I assume she's sold this type of jegging before...and I am just so unfamilar with her sizing I'm doubting I got it right.  Were it not Covid times I usually wouldn't buy jeans online unless I already knew how I fit in the brand.

TIA anyone who might shed any light..

(I realize there are threads on DG jeans, and people gave me feedback in the past on her regular jeans, but I wanted specific feedback on her jeggings...as I think they are a different animal with letter sizing..)

Hi, i did buy her jeggings once and they have a lot of stretch so your sizing looks correct. Mine didn't have 8% spandex but still lots of stretch. I always order by her waist measurements, i can't stand a gap in the waist. Good luck

Not specific to DG, but whenever I order according to my measurements on QVC the clothes invariably end up being too large.

Diane doesn't design for my figure type.  Not every woman over a certain age gets a big belly.

This is a new fabric for Diane, although everyone else has done the knit jean.  I find that her sizing runs about the same as D&C, Isaac or Kim Gravil.

I think you ordered correctly XS. They kept saying go down a size due to the stretch. I ordered at Med Tall (8-10 per size chart). I am really a 12 or Large in dept. store sizing.

This is what is shown on the web page:

"If your waist and hip correspond to 2 different sizes, choose the larger size from the HSN Size Chart."

To me that looks like you should size up which is not like her usual sizing where most of the time you go down with her bottoms.

Callie keeps saying size Down! They are super-stretchy... I am not a fan of skinnies at the ankle. I love bootcut and if these had a bootcut option, I would order. They look very comfy...

Re: Diane Gilman TS HSN Special today...

I ordered the TSV in one size down from my box store size.  The ones with alot of stretch fit me better a little on the small side. I think these are knit and will have alot more stretch then the DG Jeggings.  The DG Jeggings I ordered a Medium and they fit.  For referance i'm 5'3"  and 145 lbs. with a bit of a tummy.    I also ordered the hoodie that matches.  The gray  is very pretty, but I did go for the green for spring as I have alot of black, gray and blue jeans.

There is a bootcut version made from same material # 736-337 . It is priced higher at $46. https://www.hsn.com/products/dg2-by-diane-gilman-dg-downtime-knit-flex-boot-cut-jegg/9785651
