@Caaareful Shopper

I've purchased several of her jackets over the years, but her jeans never worked for my body type.  Here's the last jacket I purchased ... one of my favorites ...

@SoX  Fantastic jacket!!

Her jeans are all over the place in fit; I think she got too experimental in fabric/stretch at the detriment of proper sizing.

I do have a few pairs of hers I love, but that was after returning several disasters over the years.

That doesn't surprise me; bringing Sam on board as creative director was her first step toward retirement. Her last show should be a celebration to end all celebrations. Diane and HSN changed the world of jeans and they made $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Re: Diane Gilman Officially Retiring

I am not surprised, I figured that would be happening when Sam started to be on alot.

I thought it would be even sooner.  After her illness I didn't expect her to be back on air at all.

I wish her well, she certainly deserves to retire at this point in her life.  I had a love/hate relationship with her clothing over the years, LOL, mostly due to the sizing issues like others mentioned.

Whatever happened to Shivan Sarna? She took over for Diane when she was going thru treatment and haven't seen her since Sam started on air presentations. I thought she did a good job.

I only know him from the 8 years he was on Shophq. I believe he was creative director for their Kate & Mallory brand. He must have hopped around a lot before that.

Re: Diane Gilman Officially Retiring

I wish Diane nothing but the best as she enters the next phase of her incredible life.

She has gone from designing for rock stars to the Queen of HSN.  At 77 maybe she can finally take it easy.

Good, she was rude, obnoxious with a side of loud screeching!
