The Travolta dance gown didn't sell at the auction yesterday, it failed to meet the reserve of 200,000 euros. These two dresses that Diana owned did sell.

One of my favorites!  I loved the "Elvis" dress with all the pearls as well but my all time favorite was her "revenge" dress!  Spectacular!

It is amazing you can still miss someone you never met.  I suppose being the same age, marrying and having the first child at the same time brings a bit of a connection.  Now with being a Grandmother I would so love to see her with her boys and their children.  The dress at the White House just spectacular.

Seeing her with John T. like this, so young and beautiful...and in a stunning dress, dancing and happy....makes me tearful.

Why?  I certainly didn't "know" her or her heart.  But, having been married to a man who was indifferent to me leaving me heartbroken made me feel connected to her in an odd way.

She was in love and wanted that love in return....sadly, never got it from her husband.....but her children have done her more than proud.
