I believe people should do whatever they wish with their monies; however, I have to agree with Reever that 7,000. a night IMO, is a waste of good money! It makes me wonder how they managed to become that rich if that's how they spend. Most wealthy people, do not waste money and that's probably why they have it. The "noveaux riche" tend to want to show they have it.

How do you know how most wealthy people spend their money?

Oh please. We all waste money if we compare ourselves to what others buy. Do people think everyone spends money the way YOU think they should? I agree with redngold, how do you know how wealthy people spend their money? You may waste far more than they do if you look it as a percentage of your income anyway. It amazes me how much some people think they know about others financial status and spending habits.

Isaac mentions Arnold. I highly doubt QVC told Dennis - of all people - to zip it.

It seems that each time you start to mention your husband, you stop mid syllable and change the subject. Whether with Shawn or other hosts. It took many years for you to have the privilege and right to be married. Be out and proud of how far we have come. Have you been told by QVC management to stay quiet about your marriage? If so, shame on them, if not, Dennis, don't worry, if we love your fashion we will buy your fashion, your choice of spouse will not impact your success. Celebrate love always!!!
Really?? Is it any of your business?? Leave politics out of this.

Politics?

Marriage equality has nothing to do with politics, IMO. It's nothing that was voted on...it was determined by the SCOTUS and their interpretation of the Constitution.

I'm glad voting by the majority wasn't the determining factor.

It's just the right thing to do...the SCOTUS agrees.

Where do you get your misinformation? The SCOTUS has not decided this issue and, in fact, only heard oral argument last week. We should not expect a decision until late June. Not only has the Court not decided the issue, the case could go either way, most commentators agree the Court may decide not to redefine marriage. Justice Kennedy, known to be a swing vote on social issues, expressed deep concern that the nine judges did not have the power to change the definition of marriage that had been universally accepted for millennia. We will not know what the Court thinks until it renders its decision.

Whether political or not this issue is polarizing. You know, not everyone finds it wonderful. Some people have strong beliefs of the opposite and that doesn't mean they are wrong. It's an opinion. I don't think a shopping channel is a good venue to open up that conversation--it's just too controversial right now, but maybe someday that won't be the case. But right now it is.

QVC could never, legally, censor anyone about mentioning their marital status. QVC has a host of lawyers to protect the Company and that type of activity by an entity would find itself in the midst of a very big, very public lawsuit. It is 2015 and dated thinking to believe a Company even cares no less censor a noted designer. It he stops himself from speaking about his husband, he is censoring himself for some private reason.

I can't believe he'd censor himself. It was splashed all over when he got "married."
