Dennis Basso's New Reversible Coat - Sizing??

I am usually a M in his coats but the measurements seem a little large (47") chest.  If anyone out there is a M, would you size down to a small in this (45")?

Kachina624:  That makes sense.  I really like the leopard one so I will take a chance with the M.

 the last 2 coats that I bought this yr from his line , my exact size which is an xs  fit perfect but I had wanted a little more room for big sweaters or suit jacket underneath so I ended up with the size small and it fits well.
